“We are all responsible”

The biggest problem we all face is explaining ourselves.  Because others cannot hear what we are saying.  I like to claim that we are all working together on this open source language which intends to describe how our human mind works.  Most importantly, this language is growing capable of helping all 8 billion of us realize personal significance to the future of the world.

I am going to use “narcissism” as a conceptual device we can use to describe, understand and observe how the mind works.  Consider that by writing, I am reaching out to other collaborative narcissists, imagining we may find a useful open source language designed to encourage and enhance our expanding teamwork, “Ohana Pu’uwai“. (Literally:  The whole family Heart.)  Were we to be successful, our simple words will become part of the curricula. By that method we will influence the generations into the study of Emotional Anatomy:
Freedom vs Slavery

Slavery is represented by the diagnosis of Narcissism. Both the patient and diagnostician display fixed attitudes, moods, emotions, behaviors and ideas that are no longer available for compassionate exploration, growth or understanding.

Very often we can help by introducing Emotional Anatomy. We want to encourage the important discovery of alternative pathways by which we navigate the ocean of emotion.

    8 Traits of Healthy Narcissism

I am claiming narcissism as a challenging condition of the human mind,
not a diagnosis of extremes in health or dysfunction.
Collaborative narcissism. “We stand on the shoulders of giants.” This is our healthy approach. We trust the sincerity of those who have tried before us.
But now, let us consider narcissism as a human condition rather than a diagnosis. We are all narcissists. All 8 billion of us, we can only see the world through our own eyes, heart mind body soul spirit. So we must educate ourselves, our children, their friends, the teachers, each other to understand our human condition,
our narcissism. Otherwise we all will be stuck with whatever worldview we have inherited.
    Freedom vs Slavery

Emotional Anatomy is delicate neural tissue. It is easily wounded.
It doesn’t grow back. Traumatic brain injury rehabilitation offers valuable metaphor for Emotional Anatomy.
Recall that emotional anatomy begins to take shape within the Neural Tube.
Very significant adaptations within emotional anatomy occur before there is language. As collaborative narcissists we learn to speak the truth about our wounds. #Me too
Yet there are most feelings for which we have no words to express impact, influence, urge, impulse, desire, behavior, response.

Modern psychological treatment can help people develop coping strategies.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy appropriately focuses upon thoughts of intellect.
We have yet to acknowledge the primacy of Emotional Anatomy in Cognition.
“When the mood changes the movie changes.”
    “Gratitude reboots the machine.”
Without awareness we become slaves to emotional reflexes out of control.
    Freedom vs Slavery

Our vocabulary reflects our hope for confident joy as we learn how to navigate our Ocean of Emotion.
The movie “Moana” is helpful to conceptualize returning our heart home through determined collaborative navigation.

Important and Valuable, Personal Significance to the future of the world.
    “We are all responsible”.
Trapped within our compulsively repetitious behaviors, expressions, thoughts, theories and religions, the language for navigating our emotional anatomy to discover Freedom to Choose for the better has not yet entered our culture.

There is a practical reality observable within us that makes understanding
Emotional Anatomy very difficult and that is the primacy of Emotional Lensing.
“When the mood changes, the movie changes” summarizes the tug of war between stories continuously pulling against our improving awareness. We begin to recognize multiple emotional reflexes which are generated as self protection in response to emotional wounds. Those reflexes are part of our emotional anatomy and will erupt spontaneously when triggered by life events. Unrecognized, “that’s just who I am” is part of the stubborn story of slavery that prevents us from engaging in this open source language we are using to describe how the mind works.

It is beautiful reward: invited into realizing personal significance in our endeavor.
There is no one else but ourselves that will be able to learn and present an accurate description of how our own mind works. Freedom vs Slavery

We are investing in our confidence. We can imagine Emotional Architecture to be forming on always expanding, firming, comfortable, swelling sense of confidence. This Confident Comfortable and Familiar place is gained by navigating
    Heart Home.
Navigation Heart Home Wisdom begins vocabulary that helps each other recognize and orient ourselves within our Ocean of Emotional Anatomy
(habits, patterns and secrets of normal emotional responses to various wounding experience.)
This is how we learn about the primacy of our emotional anatomy. Our conscientious efforts to navigate via gratitude to return to our hearts home gets interrupted by emotions not yet well understood.
Here is Awareness and Mindfulness at work.

The reason learning heart home navigation is difficult is because it is War.
The tug of war between stories. “when the mood changes the movie changes”
