>Hey .. for a school project, I was assigned to compose an
original explanation myth, explaining a modern "why" using gods
and goddesses (e.g. Why does the wind blow?) .. I would appreciate
it if any of you could give me any ideas and maybe a start to the
story .. thank you very much.

Dear Aaron,

What a magnificent gift from God is our mind capable of seeing the
awesome rainbow of creation. Through the lens of wonder is the gift of
life, absolutely free to choose. Through the lens of why?
There is a never ending trail of lies,
The next correcting errors past.

Enkidu, a gift to all of us from out of the land of Ur.
The primitive peoples of this world have much to teach
us civilized ones. It was Enkidu who told me of the fruit
from the tree of life and of the one who survived the flood.

It was Enkidu who taught me of the freedom to live--To pitch in
to the awesome wonder of creation. Awesome inspiration,
He changed me. He told me of Utnapishtim. He helped me defeat
oppressive gods. When Enkidu died, I sought his teacher, to learn
more from the one who survived the flood. He taught of eternal life.
In vain and vanity, I wanted this for my people.
They couldn't see it.   They kept asking why?

Pain is our teacher.  Have we had enough yet?

Just recruiting.
